After recording, customize your demo in the Saltfish editor.
Click any step in the left sidebar to edit:
Tooltip Text
Text shown in the tooltip bubble pointing to your click
Zoom Level
How much to zoom into the click area (1x-3x)
Duration
How long this step displays before auto-advancing
💡 Tip: Keep tooltips short and action-oriented: "Click here to create a new project"
Open the Settings panel to customize the overall look:
Primary Color
Your brand color for buttons and tooltips
Font Color
Auto (contrast-based), white, or black
Browser Style
Desktop (with browser chrome) or Minimal (borderless)
Card Layout
Centered, Left-aligned, or Right-aligned
Add context with cards that bookend your demo:
Intro Card
Title (e.g., "See how to create a project")
Description (1-2 sentences of context)
CTA button text (e.g., "Start tour")
Outro Card
Title (e.g., "That's it!")
Description (e.g., "You've seen how easy it is to get started")
CTA button text (e.g., "Replay" or links to your signup)
Delete a step: Click the trash icon on the step
Reorder steps: Not currently supported - re-record if needed
Click Preview to see exactly what viewers will experience, including animations and timing.
